Teton County School District participates in several programs supported by the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE). The following list provides some information on many of these programs.
WDE summer school & extended day (Wyoming Bridges) grant provides funds to support academically at risk students outside the normal school day, or school year.
NBCT program provides funds for all Wyoming teachers with National Board Certification.
WDE Distance Education grant provides funds for developing and sustaining K-12 distance education courses offered on the Wyoming Switchboard Network (WSN).
WDE Instructional Facilitators grant provides funds for employing qualified Instructional Facilitators in Wyoming schools for the purpose of improving the quality of instruction.
WDE Food Service Assistance provides funds to help subsidize food service operation Wyoming schools.
WDE student enrichment provides funds to provide student enrichment instruction programs to Wyoming students.
WDE 21CCLC – Exito Para Todos supports the creation or expansion of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
